I thought as the blog is going so well I thought i should add a news section. So far the blog has been very successful, Site visitors are multiplying every day and I am getting a lot of good feedback from people, my inbox has been going crazy with people wishing me well and others who have ideas and opinions they want to see happen on the blog. I value everyone who wants to make an opinion or add something, it makes everything I do worth while. I also appreciate everyone who is getting involved with the actual blog itself, I have noticed in the last week, people are replying to my blog posts and adding stories of their own 'survival' which not only adds to the illusion, but is also amazing community spirit.

I had a photographer from my local newspaper come to the flat and take some pictures of me, so it looks like my blog has so far made the local news which is amazing, someone said I should have opened the door with a 12 gauge shotgun and asked him to strip so I could check for bites, that really wouldn't have done my website or my own mental credibility any good. I will obviously add the news link when it appears, just goes to show that a little creativity and getting peoples attention really can do wonders for you. It will be interesting to see if we get in the national news as well, that will be an achievement.
I also want to thank the well wishers a big thanks for enquiring about Robyn. she is recovering from her tonsillitis, and although she is still very weak and sore, no zombie virus is going to cause a rather heavy duty maglite to make swift contact with her noggin in the near future.

Yes I made it into the local newspaper which is amazing, I sure hope fellow Stevenage people get to read it and check the blog out. I now want to approach the national papers too, The Sun or Daily Mirror, even if they cover just a small article its good enough for me.

I was up at 5am this morning and I took my camcorder into town to get some footage to be edited. It really was very spooky and quiet in town, didn't see a living soul, except pigeons. Yes the town has been taken over by vermin. I was also highly aware of the CCTV cameras following me about, I could just imagine the operators watching me thinking "what the hell is this weirdo doing? its 5am and he is video recording the wall of McDonald's." I remember I did this before for a separate video project the police came out to see what I was up to which I think was a bit over the top because I wasn't vandalising, robbing or doing anything illegal, however using a video camera at 5am may be considered weird and unusual it seems it is also considered to be a possible suspicious crime. I didn't have any issues this time though, I assume they must be used to the local nut with the camcorder. So pretty soon you can all expect some great new edited footage. I don't know when it will be ready, so I will be writing the blog around how well I get through editing the video.

Okay I have completed editing all the clips from my dawn filming last week, I felt that I could maybe go out and add some more, however I could end up filming and filming and filming but the end result wwon't always look any better. That said my video of me going outside should be up on the blog tomorrow afternoon following the storyline of me going out to look for supplies so keep your eyes open.

Well they have offered to put this site in their monthly online E-zine, so the word is definatly getting around. Please feel free to subscribe mailinglist@terror4fun.com and have a look at the great stuff they have going on over there.

Due to the summer holidays coming up and the next few months being very busy for us, I will be cutting down on the blog posts. I know that up until now I have written something every day, however due to other commitments I need to limit posts to one every few days or even one a week, It is also getting difficult to think of new material so rather than let the story burn out I want to keep it going for as long as possible. I thank everyone for your support and good emails.
